Questions parents ask
Do I need a second phone or an account?
No. You set everything up on your kid's phone and change it later on the same phone, with your parent PIN. There's no parent app for your own phone and nothing to sign up for.
Will my kid know Kiddo Safe is there?
Yes, and that's on purpose. Kip explains every block in kind words, a small “Kip is on guard” notification stays on their phone, and check-ins always show a notification while they're on.
What's free, and what needs Premium?
Free: app control (up to 5 apps), sites and keywords (5 each), short videos, YouTube channels, Safe DNS, new-app approval, screen time and Blocked lately. Premium adds the adult content filter, time limits, bedtime, uninstall protection and check-ins, and removes the 5-item limits. Compare plans.
Can my kid delete Kiddo Safe or switch it off?
With Uninstall protection (Premium), Kiddo Safe can't be deleted, switched off or force-stopped without your PIN. Without it, Protection check-up tells you when something was switched off and how to turn it back on.
Does it work on iPhone?
No. Kiddo Safe is for Android 8.0 and newer, on phones and tablets.
